We are not a typical lighting/HVAC contractor. We are an L3C mission-based company, and our shared purpose is reducing energy consumption in the Chicagoland area. Our employees are top of line environmentalists with diverse backgrounds who live and breathe this mission. Our company’s founder, a former Illinois firefighter, has ensured that safety is a top priority. This is why our in-house installation crew is world class in delivering safe and efficient installations.
We work hard to make things easy for our customers. We handle it all from start to finish, from the energy efficiency assessments to liaising with the relevant utility company on the customers’ behalf. We know the ins and outs of all the energy efficiency programs in the greater Chicagoland region and we ensure that any and all funding resources are being utilized.
Since the time Verde was born over 10 years ago, we have learned by and large which products work well and which don’t. This experience has led us to become experts in recommending energy efficiency solutions along with products that work best for a space. We select every single one of our products because we are confident that they are the correct, long term
solution that our clients will be able to depend on for years to come.
We are a company built on the value of sustainability, and we choose products to match. That’s why we are partnered with Philips Lighting, the global leader in lighting technologies and innovations. High quality lighting and its components, such as an accurate color rendering index (CRI) is important to us because it’s the healthiest for our eyes by revealing colors closely resembling a natural light source. Philips lighting achieves this, by manufacturing the most accurate CRI in its lighting solutions such as lamps and luminaires. We are also partnered with Trane, a leading manufacturer of HVAC and building management control systems, who we feel provides some of the most efficient, well-made, and cost-effective units and systems.
Over the past 10 years, Verde has seen kWh reductions of over 14,196,600 kWh, which is equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 165,966 trees! We have accomplished some great things here at Verde, but we’re just getting started.
