Job Brief
The Operations Assistant is primarily responsible for handling scheduling of our installations as well as data entry/bookkeeping tasks related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. As needed, they will also be responsible for other operational tasks to support operational efficiencies, receiving mail, answering phones, etc. To ensure success, they will need to be present in our office location and multitask effectively in an ever-changing environment without compromising on details. This position reports directly to the Controller.
Responsibilities
● Customer Support; answering incoming calls, handling mail, monitor company email account, responding to customer inquiries within 4 hours, provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for all incoming callers
● Scheduling support; work with our team to identify installation time frames, confirm appointments with the customers and document details in software systems, provide weekly updates to customers
● Assisting Accounts Payables via NetSuite, entering bills based on item receipts, classifying Credit Card
transactions, monitoring payment deadlines to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner
● Assisting with accounts receivables – calling and emailing clients to follow up on past due invoices
● Assisting with Matching Bank Data and Bank Reconciliation
● Expert Data Entry within multiple software systems, utilizing systems to maximize efficiency
● Willingness to cover other operational tasks including but not limited to:
o Assisting with invoicing, and processing incentives for utility programs
o Entering Maintenance Requests into Project Management software
● Other duties as assigned

● Previous experience with NetSuite
Requirements
● High school diploma or GED certificate
● Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
● Strong organizational skills: ability to juggle multiple tasks and track and document minute details
● Location: This is a fully in-person role, based at 5328 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, IL 60640 to support our clients, vendors and staff
● Working Conditions: This role requires the employee to work at a computer for hours at a time

Job brief
Verde Energy Efficiency Experts are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Technician to join
our team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader, capable of managing complex rooftop
projects and possessing expert-level knowledge of HVAC maintenance and installation. This
position has zero direct reports and reports directly to our Controller.
Responsibilities
● Project Leadership: Confidently lead Roof Top HVAC replacement projects from start to
finish, including managing crane communication, directing recycling and crane crews on the
job site, and overseeing all electrical and gas connection work.
● Refrigeration Expertise: Possess the ability to braze refrigeration lines and perform thorough
leak checks on all refrigeration line installations.
● Equipment Start-up: Capable of starting up a large variety of rooftop equipment
independently, or with minimal technical support assistance when necessary.
● Technical Communication: Experienced in effectively communicating with and
problem-solving alongside technical support teams from various manufacturers.
● Specialized Component Knowledge: Experienced with the installation and ongoing
maintenance of economizers and actuators on diverse rooftop equipment.
● Mentorship and Training: Willing and able to train and mentor other team members on
HVAC equipment and best practices, both in-person and remotely via video calls.
● Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
● Extensive commercial HVAC experience with rooftop units, heat pumps and advanced thermostat installations
● Proficient in troubleshooting both new and existing HVAC systems
● Ability to build partnerships across teams
● Skilled problem solver
● Demonstrated ability to mentor and train fellow employees
● Help to streamline and improve current project procedures
Requirements
● Experience with rooftop installations
● HVAC Troubleshooting ability
● Thermostat installations competency
● Comfortable using multiple programs via smart phone or computer
● Able to generate detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects
● Willingness to learn new products/tools
● Travel obligations include visiting each project location as necessary
● Utilize appropriate PPE in the workplace
● Expected work hours: 8 hrs per day, 5 days a week, as early as 6 am
● Expected work locations: rooftops and indoors
● Expected working conditions: able to work in environment that has hot/cold temps, loud
noises, dust (ear plugs/masks provided), humid, wet
● Must lift 50+ lbs frequently, work indoors and outdoors year-round, standing, walking,
bending, lifting, climbing ladders, reaching overhead, and operate at various heights
Benefits
Wage rate: $80,000 – $100,000 per year, depending on experience, ($80k with min 7 years, $90K
with min 10 years, and $100K with min 15 years of experience) Full-time or Part-time, salary
compensable with number of hours worked, FLSA non-exempt, overtime and prevailing wage
